Zayn Educational Trust
The Trust was founded in November 2004 as a registered society and trust
under the prevailing rules by Dr. MA. Zohir and Dr. Zafar Zohir as Zayn
Educational Trust. The main objective of the trust is to further the cause of
professional education and skil development through serving the less
privileged communities in professional education, health care, rural
development and creating livelihood opportunities.
The Trust provides professional education through its two institutes — Synetic
Business School and Synergy Institute of Management, Technology and Arts —
undertakes consultancy services that help in Professionalizing MSME, conducts
various training and coaching workshops, organizes free healthcare
campaigns with focus on female health and hygiene. In the field of community
development, the focus is on Free Medical camps and educational
scholarships to the economically weaker sections.
zayn Trust is a full Non-Profit Trust registered with NITI AYOG, Government of
India under UID PB/2017/0163733 with trust members from across businesses
and professionals of Punjab. The Trust through its unit SBS College is also a
Participating Institute of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyaan under the Ministry of
Human Resource Development with IIT Delhi and regional nodal agency NITTR,
Chandigarh sponsoring rural development and employment generation
initiatives in villages around its campus since 2018.

Zayn Educational Trust is established on fundamentals of imparting quality
education through a purpose-built residential campus; hiring experienced and
highly qualified faculty; having a state-of-the-art library; offering knowledge-
based consultancy support to local industry and organizing entrepreneurship
and leadership development workshops and CSR activities as enumerated
above.
Funding Opportunity
SBS is an autonomous and privately funded institution - a voluntary

MEANS OF FUNDING
You can be part of this societal goal, by funding the activities at SBS in several
ways:
« By ear-marked donation for a specific activity such as the building of
Auditorium, Canteen, Student Common Room, etc.
« By the creation of endowment funds for scholarships, academic chairs, etc.
« By general donations that go to the SBS corpus fund to be used for students
welfare, improving infrastructure, and inviting foreign faculty.
The facility developed with the funds donated by you to SBS may be named
after the donor’s company name/brand name or any individual name as
