BSc Textile Designing is a specialized three-year undergraduate program that emphasizes hands-on practical training, constituting approximately 70% of the course. It offers a comprehensive understanding of traditional textile crafts and modern textile technologies including fabric structures, surface ornamentation, dyeing, printing, and digital design tools. Located in Ludhiana, a vibrant textile industry hub in India, the program provides students with rich exposure to industry practices, empowering them with skills required for careers in textile manufacturing, fashion, export, and design research.
Eligibility
All those candidates who have passed 10+2 in any stream or equivalent examination from any Board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation and member of Council of School Education (COBSE).
OR
Three years Diploma (after Matriculation Examination) in any trade from any recognized State Board of Technical Education or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.
